Make a paper plate tiger
The stripes make the tiger! Paint a paper plate orange, then add bold black stripes — a neat trick is to paint them in groups of three. Cut out two ears, a snout and a little heart-shaped nose, add some whiskers and you've got a roaring tiger. Try a handprint tiger too, or glue yours to a craft stick for a puppet.
Into the jungle
Tigers belong with the great big cats. Print a lion, a spotty leopard and a cheeky monkey, browse the whole wild animals group, or explore the full animals collection.
T is for Tiger
Tigers are full of surprises! They're the biggest cats in the world, and every tiger's stripe pattern is completely unique — just like a fingerprint. Even more amazing: a tiger's skin is striped too, not just its fur! And unlike most cats, tigers love water and are brilliant swimmers. A baby tiger is called a "cub". These templates are great for the letter "T" too: colour your tiger while you practise the "T" sound, or trace the outline for fine-motor practice.
