Make a paper plate zebra
The stripes make the zebra! Paint or leave a paper plate white, then add bold black stripes with a marker or strips of paper. Cut out two ears, a snout and a spiky mane, add googly eyes and you've got a stripey zebra. Try a handprint zebra too, or glue yours to a craft stick for a puppet.
Safari and the savanna
A zebra belongs out on the African plains with the rest of the safari. Print a lion, an elephant and a tall giraffe, browse the whole wild animals group, or explore the full animals collection. Fun fact: the zebra is actually a striped relative of the horse!
Z is for Zebra
The zebra is the star of the letter "Z" — colour one in while you practise the "Z" sound. And it's full of amazing facts: every zebra's stripe pattern is completely unique, just like a fingerprint, so no two zebras look exactly the same. Scientists also think zebras are really black animals with white stripes — and a group of zebras has a brilliant name: a "dazzle"!
