Make a tall giraffe
The fun of a giraffe is making it really tall! Cut the neck as a long strip and fold it concertina-style (like an accordion) so your giraffe springs up and wobbles, or roll the body into a cone so it stands on its own. Add the spots by stamping with the end of a cork or potato, or sticking on little squares of brown tissue paper. A bright giraffe also makes lovely nursery and bedroom wall decor.

Giraffes are record-breakers! They're the tallest animals on Earth, tall enough to peek into an upstairs window. Here's a surprise: even with that enormous neck, a giraffe has exactly seven neck bones — the same number as you! Their tongue is amazing too: about 45cm long and a dark blue-purple colour to protect it from the sun. And just like fingerprints, no two giraffes have the same spots.
