Gathering acorns for fall
Squirrels and acorns go together! In autumn, squirrels rush to collect and bury acorns to last them through the winter. Print some acorns to go with your squirrel and turn it into a learning game: count and sort them, write a letter of your child's name on each one, or pop a few acorns in a tray of paint and shake them around to "splatter-paint" in fall colours. Build a squirrel and learn its letter
Colour the parts, then cut and glue them together — don't forget that big fluffy tail glued behind the body. Wrap one around a cardboard tube or glue it to a paper bag for a quick puppet.
