Rhino crafts

Colour your rhino in shades of grey, and don't forget that mighty horn on its nose! Cut and paste the pieces to build one, glue it to a craft stick or paper bag for a puppet, or scrunch and stick on grey tissue paper to give it bumpy, armour-like skin. Pop your rhino on a sandy savanna background for a great safari scene.

Safari friends

The rhino shares the savanna with some big neighbours. Print an elephant, a hippo and a lion, browse the whole wild animals group, or explore the full animals collection.

R is for Rhino

The word "rhinoceros" actually means "nose horn" — the perfect name! Here's a surprising fact: a rhino's horn isn't bone, it's made of keratin, the very same stuff as your hair and fingernails. Rhinos have thick, tough skin like a suit of armour, and even though they're huge, they can run surprisingly fast. A baby rhino is called a "calf". These templates are great for the letter "R" too.
