Say hello to the cheekiest animal on the farm! With their curly horns, nibbly mouths and wispy little beards, goats are full of character — and lots of fun to make. Colour these printable goat templates, cut them out, or download the PDF to print at full size. They're perfect for farm animal themes, classroom projects and storytime crafts. Pick a goat below and print or download it.

Make a paper plate goat

Paint a paper plate white, grey or brown for the goat's face or body, then add the bits that make a goat a goat: two curvy horns, floppy ears and a funny little beard. Cut eye holes and tape on a stick to turn it into a goat mask for dressing up, or glue your goat to a paper bag or craft stick for a quick puppet. Add wool or cotton wisps for a fluffy coat.

Down on the farm

A goat is right at home in a farm project — just add some friends! Print a sheep, a cow, a horse and a pig for a complete barnyard scene, and explore lots more in the full animals collection.

The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and G is for Goat

Goats are the stars of one of the best-loved stories of all — "The Three Billy Goats Gruff". Print a small, a medium and a great big goat to act out the tale of the goats trip-trapping over the bridge! These are perfect for the letter "G" too: colour your goat while you practise the "G" sound, or trace the outline for fine-motor practice. And here are some fun facts to share: a baby goat is called a "kid" (just like you!), goats have funny rectangular pupils in their eyes, and they're brilliant climbers who love to scramble up high.
