The legend of Cerberus
In Greek mythology, Cerberus was the loyal watchdog of Hades, god of the Underworld. With his three heads (and a snake for a tail!), he made sure no living person could sneak in and no spirit could sneak out. He's most famous for being captured by the hero Heracles as the very last of his twelve labours — and the only one ever to get past him was Orpheus, who lulled all three heads to sleep with his beautiful music. Colour yours as a fearsome guardian, or give him three big friendly grins instead!
More creatures from Greek mythology
Cerberus is one of many amazing beasts from the Greek myths. Keep the legend going with the centaur, half human and half horse, and the Minotaur, the half-man, half-bull who lived in the labyrinth.
